Everton are set to open talks with Jordan Pickford over a new contract which could keep him at the club for the rest of his career, according to The Times.
The Everton goalkeeper has two years left on his current contract, and he is expected to sign a long-term extension.
The new deal should keep Pickford at the Merseyside club until his mid-thirties, and an agreement is expected to be reached between both parties.
The Toffees star has proven himself as one of the most important members of the Everton squad over the years, establishing himself as the first-choice in goal for England in the process.
Pickford joined the Toffees from Sunderland in 2017 and has since made 322 appearances across all competitions.
He made his debut for the Three Lions the same year, months after moving to Everton. He has been capped 76 times.
Pickford is part of a three-man leadership team that includes captain Seamus Coleman and James Tarkowski.
The club want Pickford to stay until the end of his career, while talks are also planned in the future with Tarkowski, James Garner and Vitalii Mykolenko.
Everton have started 2025-26 with two victories and a defeat in their opening three Premier League games and have also advanced to the third round of the League Cup.
Pickford saved a penalty from Danny Welbeck to help his team secure a 2-0 victory over Brighton & Hove Albion in their first home game at the Hill Dickinson Stadium.
