Everton face Manchester United this evening in their final fixture of the Premier League Summer Series.
The Toffees have endured a difficult time on their pre-season tour of the United States, losing to Bournemouth and West Ham.
David Moyes has expressed his concern at the readiness of his squad for the upcoming Premier League campaign.
Everton have lost 10 senior players this summer and additions have been minimal to date. Moyes is hopeful that his side can make progress on new signings ahead of their Premier League opener at Leeds on August 18th.
A lack of signings and injury absences have left Everton short of options this summer. Moyes has been forced into a defensive reshuffle for the opening two Summer Series games, though James Tarkowski made his return from the bench against West Ham.
Jarrad Branthwaite and Seamus Coleman are also close to returning, while new signing Adam Aznou further boosts the defensive stocks. Fellow recruit Thierno Barry is pushing for his first start after involvement off the bench since signing from Villarreal.
Everton predicted XI: Pickford; Patterson, O’Brien, Tarkowski, Mykolenko; Alcaraz, Garner, Gueye, McNeil, Ndiaye; Beto.
Manchester United face Everton in the Premier League Summer Series on Sunday 3rd August 2025. Kick-off in Atlanta is 10:00pm BST.
