Lamine Yamal - Fran Garcia
Two days before El Clasico at the Santiago Bernabéu, Lamine Yamal has set Spain alight by directly accusing Real Madrid.
On the Kings League set this Thursday night, Lamine Yamal made comments that sent shockwaves across Spain. The Barça wonderkid jokingly suggested that Real Madrid has a reputation for stealing its matches. "Yes, they steal, they complain all the time..." he told Spanish streamer Ibai Llanos. Also present, and a former Barça player himself, Gerard Piqué added fuel to the fire: "There's no debate about it." And everyone knew exactly what was coming next.
"He doesn't realize what he represents, what he can say. He's 18, already the leader of Barça and the Spanish national team. He thinks he's the king of football. He barely shakes Ronaldo's hand. (…) No player can say an institution steals. I don't care if he's with friends at the Kings League. He thinks he's above everything, above good and evil." raged Edu Aguirre on the El Chiringuito set. Aguirre is well known for his close ties to Real Madrid.
So, once again, Lamine Yamal finds himself at the center of a new controversy.
