Ferran Torres, match-winner in the 2026 World Cup final, is on a United States media tour with sponsor Under Armour and is keeping his future open amid PSG interest. The 26-year-old has been in demand across major networks this week.
He flew to New York on Sunday and began the promotional round on Monday. Marca reports that US broadcasters are competing for interviews and photoshoots with global outlets are scheduled, while Mundo Deportivo notes a session with Women’s Wear Daily.
"I am under contract with Barcelona, but in football you never know what can happen. I am taking my time to make the right decision," he told NBC on Monday.
"For now, all I know is that I have to be with them on 12 August to train, so we will see what happens. You never know because everything can change in an instant, I have to be ready for anything," he said on CNN.
He is tied to Barcelona until June 2027 and remains on Paris’s radar, with Luis Enrique, who first picked him for Spain in 2020, also interested. Barcelona would have preferred to hear his intentions directly but remain calm, Marca says. Head coach Hansi Flick said, "We have to wait a little. I have total confidence in Deco, we know we have to do something. But it also depends on Ferran."
Torres also addressed the cap worn during Spain’s celebrations that read Make Spain great again. "It was a funny moment, but it had nothing to do with politics. To be honest, I do not understand politics. It was just to see Spain back on top, winning the World Cup."
