First place matchups headline penultimate matchday in U-20 Qualifiers

MIAMI – The 2026 Concacaf U-20 Qualifiers continues with the final encounters in Groups A, B, and C on Tuesday.
After round-robin play in the competition, the top team from each group will advance to the 2026 Concacaf U-20 Championship. Three berths are directly at play in as many encounters as the battles for first place culminate.
Group A
Grenada vs. French Guiana
Grenada meets French Guiana in Group A at Estadio Miguel Chocorrón Buitrago in Managua, Nicaragua.
Grenada (1-0-3) will seek to exit the tournament with a second victory. French Guiana (0-1-3) will try to build on its point earned to climb out of last place.
Belize vs. Saint Martin
Belize and Saint Martin meet in Group A at Estadio Miguel Chocorrón Buitrago in Managua, Nicaragua.
Both nations will strive to exit the tournament with a victory. Belize won the previous encounter between the nations at the 2022 edition.
El Salvador vs. Suriname
El Salvador and Suriname will face off to decide first place in Group A at Estadio Miguel Chocorrón Buitrago in Managua, Nicaragua.
Sharing the pitch in 1976 and 2024 editions, each nation has one win over the other in the all-time series.
El Salvador (4-0-0) enters as the leader of the group and needs only a draw to seal the top spot.
Suriname (3-0-1) needs a victory by at least three goals to move up from second place and take the qualification berth on goal difference.
Group B
Cayman Islands vs. Bonaire
The Cayman Islands and Bonaire will face each other for the first time in Group B at Stadion Rignaal ‘Jean’ Francisca in Willemstad, Curaçao.
Bonaire (1-1-2) celebrated its first win in the tournament against Turks and Caicos Islands. Ivar Bakelaar and Timothy Muller scored to lead their side to history.
The Cayman Islands (0-0-4) seeks to exit the tournament with its first victory.
Jamaica vs. Puerto Rico
Jamaica and Puerto Rico will clash for the top of Group B at Stadion Rignaal ‘Jean’ Francisca in Willemstad, Curaçao.
These teams have shared the pitch four times prior, with Jamaica taking the win in every match. Both teams have yet to lose in the 2026 edition.
Jamaica (4-0-0) has been a menace on offense and defense, leading the tournament with 27 goals in favor and none conceded. The Reggae Boyz need only a draw to clinch first place.
Puerto Rico (4-0-0) has also shined on both fronts, scoring 12 goals and only conceding once. El Huracán Azul needs a victory to overtake Jamaica for the top spot.
Saint Kitts and Nevis vs. Turks and Caicos Islands
Saint Kitts and Nevis meets Turks and Caicos Islands in Group B at Stadion Rignaal ‘Jean’ Francisca in Willemstad, Curaçao.
Both teams seek to bounce back from defeat and exit with a winning feeling. The meeting between Saint Kitts and Nevis (1-1-2) and Turks and Caicos Islands (1-0-3) also marks a first-time encounter in the U-20 Qualifiers.
Group C
British Virgin Islands vs. Saint Lucia
The British Virgin Islands faces Saint Lucia for the first time in Group C at Costa Rica Federation Field #1 in Alajuela, Costa Rica.
Saint Lucia (1-0-3) enters as the third-place team in the group. The British Virgin Islands (0-1-2) is the fourth-place team but can move up with a victory.
Dominican Republic vs. Antigua & Barbuda
The Dominican Republic faces Antigua and Barbuda in Group C at Costa Rica Federation Field #1 in Alajuela, Costa Rica.
The teams last met at the 2015 and 2018 editions, with the Dominican Republic winning both encounters.
Los Quisqueyanos (3-0-0) lead the group on goal difference and only need a draw to finish in first place.
Antigua and Barbuda (3-0-0) must win by at least a four-goal margin to move up from second place.
