Flamengo first team return after day off, double session set

Flamengo’s first team return on Monday 19 for a full day of pre-season work after Sunday’s rest. According to Coluna Do Fla, two sessions are scheduled.
The morning training begins at 09:00, Brasília time, at Ninho do Urubu.
The second and final workout of the day is scheduled for 16:30 at the CT, overseen by Filipe Luís.
Given the squad’s physical condition, the club have set a tailored programme for the week. That includes another two-session day on Wednesday 21.
The professional team’s 2026 bow is expected on 28 January, when Flamengo face São Paulo in the Brasileirão opener at Morumbis, kicking off at 21:30, Brasília time.
Meanwhile, the under-20s continue to represent the club in the Carioca, meeting Vasco on Wednesday 21 and Fluminense on Sunday 25. The Vasco match is at 21:30 at the Maracanã.
After three games, the under-20s are winless, their sole point coming in a 1-1 draw with Portuguesa, leaving Flamengo bottom of Group B. If performances remain below expectations, the likelihood is the Rubro-Negro would contest the quadrangular to avoid relegation.
