Flamengo are tracking a sizeable contingent ahead of the 2026 World Cup, with 12 players linked to the club on provisional lists for Brazil, Uruguay, Colombia and Ecuador.

According to Coluna Do Fla, Brazil’s possibles include Danilo, Alex Sandro, Léo Pereira, Léo Ortiz, Lucas Paquetá, Pedro and Samuel Lino, and Flamengo lead the list of clubs with the most players in Brazil’s provisional selection.

Uruguay’s pool features Arrascaeta, who is recovering from injury, along with Varela and De La Cruz.

Colombia have Carrascal in their preliminary group, while Ecuador are considering Gonzalo Plata.

The 2026 finals will be staged in June and July, co-hosted by Mexico, Canada and the United States.

Brazil open on 13 June at 19:00 (Brasília time) against Morocco at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey. Uruguay begin on 15 June versus Saudi Arabia at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami at 19:00 (Brasília time).

Colombia face Uzbekistan on 17 June at Estadio Azteca in Mexico City at 23:00 (Brasília time). Ecuador start on 20 June against Curaçao at Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City at 21:00 (Brasília time).
