Flamengo name XI for Vasco clash as Léo Pereira returns | OneFootball

Flamengo have confirmed their line-up to face Vasco in the 14th round at the Maracanã, with Léo Pereira back in the side. The club’s push towards a 10th Brasileirão title continues on Sunday.

According to Coluna Do Fla, Leonardo Jardim’s XI is Rossi, Varela, Léo Ortiz, Léo Pereira, Alex Sandro, Evertton Araújo, Jorginho, Luiz Araújo, Plata, Samuel Lino and Pedro.

Pereira missed the meeting with Estudiantes (ARG) after suffering a deep cut to his left shin. He has recovered and will partner Léo Ortiz in defence for the Clássico dos Milhões.

There are four absences for the derby. Arrascaeta is sidelined with a clavicle issue and Erick Pulgar with a shoulder problem, while Carrascal serves a suspension from the STJD.

Lucas Paquetá completes the unavailable list. He is treating oedema in his left thigh and, due to physical wear, the medical department has yet to set a return timeframe.

Kick-off is 16:00, Brasília time, on Sunday 3 May at the Maracanã. Flamengo sit second in the league table, with Vasco currently 13th.
