Flamengo face Vasco at the Maracanã on Sunday in the 14th round of the Campeonato Brasileiro, with Léo Pereira still uncertain after missing the Libertadores meeting with Estudiantes.

According to Coluna Do Fla, the centre-back said his leg wound is improving but there is little time, adding he does not know the manager's plan. He trained only in the gym in recent days, then returned to the pitch and hopes to recover further. He said he will be with the squad whether he plays or not.

He suffered a deep cut to his leg against Atlético-MG in the league, required stitches, and consequently sat out the Estudiantes match.

He remains a doubt for the clássico. Leonardo Jardim will decide on his inclusion on matchday, only hours before the squad reach the stadium.

Kick-off is 16:00 Brasília time on Sunday at the Maracanã. Rede Globo will broadcast free to air, with Premiere carrying the pay-per-view.
