Flamengo are exploring a new deal for Bruno Henrique after Filipe Luís gave his approval, according to Paparazzo Rubro-Negro.

The forward is under contract until the end of 2026. His agent, Denis Ricardo, has been told the coach still counts on him for 2027 and the club plan to open talks because he is considered important and still has plenty to offer, the report said.

Bruno Henrique has been named in the squad for Wednesday 28 at São Paulo in the first round of the Campeonato Brasileiro.

There is an expectation he could start at Morumbis.

Kick-off is at 21h30, Brasília time, with Rede Globo showing it free-to-air and Premiere carrying it on pay-per-view.
