Flamengo lifted the 2026 Campeonato Carioca on Sunday after a 0-0 draw and a penalty shootout win over Fluminense.

According to Coluna Do Fla, the squad trained on Monday morning at Ninho do Urubu, with head coach Leonardo Jardim leading preparations for the next fixture.

The triumph marked Jardim's first trophy in Brazil, Flamengo's first of the year, and the club's third consecutive Carioca title.

Flamengo face Cruzeiro at the Maracanã on Wednesday 11 from 21:30 Brasília time, in the fifth round of the Campeonato Brasileiro.

Jardim will be reunited with his former club, having worked there in 2025 before leaving at the end of the season due to personal reasons.
