Flamengo weigh Taty Castellanos move and hold talks over Lucas Paquetá amid West Ham struggles | OneFootball

Flamengo are in negotiations with West Ham over midfielder Lucas Paquetá and are monitoring striker Taty Castellanos.

According to Coluna Do Fla, the club plan to revisit a move for Castellanos in the middle of the year. They are tracking West Ham's campaign and would pursue the Argentine if West Ham are relegated.

Castellanos joined West Ham in January in a €29 million switch from Lazio, and had been on Flamengo’s shortlist before signing for the Premier League club.

West Ham are under pressure in the Premier League, with only 14 points, currently seven behind Nottingham Forest, the first team outside the relegation zone.

Paquetá held a meeting in England on Friday, 16, where key elements of a possible agreement between the clubs were discussed. A deal could be concluded in the coming hours.
