According to Mozzart Sport, Florent Ghisolfi is set to sanction Milan Aleksić’s latest Sunderland exit, with the 20-year-old closing in on a loan to Partizan Belgrade after arriving for medical checks.

The Serbian club are expected to take him on loan for 2026-27, with an option to buy worth €1.2million, roughly £1.03million, which would be paid in three instalments if triggered.

Aleksić joined Sunderland from Radnički 1923 in August 2024 on a four-year deal for around £3.1million, arriving as an attacking midfield prospect but struggling for regular minutes.

He debuted as a substitute in a 1-1 draw with Millwall in November 2024 and netted in the FA Cup defeat to Stoke City in January 2025 minutes after replacing Chris Rigg. He later spent part of 2025-26 on loan at Cracovia, making eight appearances before returning in January.

To date he has 10 senior outings and one goal for Sunderland, comprising eight league games, one FA Cup tie and one League Cup appearance, and he has yet to score in league football.

He previously made 36 appearances and scored six times for Radnički 1923, including two in the SuperLiga, two in the national cup and two in Europe.

A switch to Partizan would return him to Serbian football with a leading club, while Sunderland would keep a pathway to a permanent sale. With the club a top 10 Premier League side under Régis Le Bris, the move looks set to provide clarity before the new season.
