FC Porto are working to seal loan deals for Terem Moffi and Seko Fofana before the window shuts at 23:59 on Monday. O Jogo reports that talks with Nice and Rennes include options to buy at the end of the season.
Farioli has said he is satisfied with the squad and Villas-Boas hinted at little movement, yet the club are pursuing low-cost loan solutions.
Fofana’s arrival depends on a departure. There is a preliminary agreement with the player and negotiations with Rennes are advanced. Eustáquio could leave as he wants more minutes in a World Cup year.
His place at the tournament his country co-hosts is not in doubt, but a starting role is. He is seeking a move, with assurances the club will not block it, although nothing concrete has arrived. After the Gil Vicente game, Farioli sidestepped whether it was his last appearance.
Adding a striker does not hinge on exits, it covers the prolonged absence of Luuk de Jong and possible short-term losses for Samu or Deniz Gul. The plan is a loan now with any fee pushed to next season. Moffi, 26, is at odds with Nice, wants to leave and views Porto as the right step, with Besiktas also interested.
His Nice future is in serious doubt amid tension with fans that flared at the end of November 2025 when he and Jeremie Boga were allegedly assaulted. He has been out since and has not played, fuelling talk of an imminent split.
