One particular Red Dragons player has caught the eye of Lampard this season
Coventry City manager Frank Lampard has identified Wrexham striker Kieffer Moore as the key man that his defenders will have to keep quiet on Friday night as they go in search of a club record.
The towering Wales international striker is spearheading the push by Phil Parkinson’s side to become a force in the Championship.
The 33-year-old arrived at the Racecourse Ground from Sheffield United in the summer, with his final contribution for the Blades being an untimely misplaced pass in the Championship play-off final at Wembley - straight into the path of teenage winger Tommy Watson, who fired in the winning goal to see Sunderland promoted.
A change was made over the summer, with Moore being sold by the Bramall Lane outfit for around £2 million to second tier newcomers Wrexham, and he's already made a mark for them.

Moore has already scored six times in 14 appearances for Wrexham in all competitions this season, and Sky Blues boss Lampard said that he was aware that the Wales international has a significant bearing on the way the hosts’ play.
“He’s been doing what he does for years - and he’s a focal point of their team," Lampard said.
“He’s made a very good career for himself - he’s very good at the hold-up play, a big physical presence.
“He’s a dangerous individual with good move, size and good technical quality - and we know he can finish.
“So, clearly, he’s a big player for them.
“But I don’t want to think that Wrexham do just that.
“They try to play as well.
“Generally, teams with a back three and three midfielders to try to play because it gives them a good opportunity to do so.
“But, of course, they can hit the front and Moore is very good at that stuff.”

Lampard has this week taken Patrick Bamford into the club’s training base.
The ex-England international is a free agent after leaving Leeds United and Lampard knows him from the time when they were both at Chelsea.
He said that the striker is just ticking over at the Sky Blues, trying to gain his match sharpness, and it doesn't appear that a contract will come at the end of it.
Back to Championship matters, Coventry are chasing a club record seventh successive league victory when they make the trip to North Wales on Friday evening.
They are three short of another landmark. If they remain unbeaten in their next three, it will equal their best start to a campaign in their history, although they do have some way to go to beat the 25-match unbeaten mark, set in 1966-67 when the late Jimmy Hill was in charge.
Only Bayern Munich from the top leagues in western Europe boasts a similar undefeated record, but such landmarks are not of any use to Lampard - he just wants to win games to make sure Coventry are in a strong position when it comes to promotion.
Lampard said: “I just want to win games - it won't be forever, because this is football, but we just try and go to win every game.
“You park the last one, you take the good and the bad from it and you move on to the next. That's all we're doing.
“Everyone else can talk about any records.
“Confidence and momentum are great, but you need to understand that if you drop your levels, then you'll lose both of those very quickly.
“So there there's always that to guard against.
“So, keep going, have a good feeling - but keep doing everything right and understand everything can always improve.”
