Niclas Fullkrug is expected to leave Milan at the end of the season, according to Football Italia. Fiorentina are considering a move.

The Rossoneri have decided not to trigger their €5m option to buy the striker from West Ham United, ending his short San Siro spell.

Sporting director Fabio Paratici is keen to add experience to the squad.

The Viola are expected to reshape their attack in the summer, particularly if both Moise Kean and Roberto Piccoli depart.

In that case, Fullkrug could present a dependable, inexpensive choice to lead the line or support a younger striker.

Paratici is said to value the 1993-born forward’s leadership and international experience, viewing him as a guide for emerging talent.

Milan are planning changes of their own in attack, which could free space to pursue higher-profile options such as Alexander Sorloth or Goncalo Ramos.

Fullkrug’s next move remains open, and a stay in Italy is a realistic possibility as conditions of a potential deal are examined.
