Galatasaray’s Okan Buruk open to Can Uzun deal if conditions are right | OneFootball

Okan Buruk has restated Galatasaray's interest in Eintracht Frankfurt attacker Can Uzun, stressing any transfer would need to make sense for all sides.

“I think it's obvious that he's a very interesting player – also because he's a Turkish player,” said Buruk. He was speaking to Sky Germany.

“Everything has to make sense – also in the case of Can Uzun. He's under contract with a very good club, we have to accept that.”

“Should the conditions arise for all parties to come together, then we can very well imagine that happening.”

“But of course, it has to make sense and happen with mutual respect.”

Uzun is in direct talks with Galatasaray and is reportedly open to a move, although the fee remains a sticking point.

Galatasaray are prepared to offer up to €40million, while Frankfurt want at least €60million for a player under contract until 2029.
