Massimiliano Allegri’s mentor Giovanni Galeone says the Italian tactician won’t return to Milan but feels Napoli must ‘hold tight’ to Antonio Conte: ‘Beware of Juventus.’
Allegri has emerged as one of the candidates to replace Sergio Conceiçao at Milan in 2025-26 but the Italian tactician’s mentor Galeone revealed that the serial Scudetto winner would not return to San Siro next season.
“I spoke to Massimiliano Allegri on the phone, and he told me that he would not go to Milan and had had no contact with the Rossoneri,” Galeone told Radio Kiss Kiss via Milannews.

Radio Kiss Kiss is a Naples-based radio station, so Galeone also spoke about the future of Antonio Conte.
“The coach’s future at the club is not guaranteed. On the contrary, don’t forget he already left Juventus and Inter despite winning Serie A titles.”
Conte joined Napoli last summer, signing a contract until 2027. The former Juventus midfielder is believed to be the leading Juventus coaching candidate for 2025-26.
Conte has already won four Serie A titles as a coach, three at Juventus and one at Inter.
On the other hand, Allegri has been without a club since May 2024, when Juventus sacked him with a year left in his contract.
