Atalanta head coach Gian Piero Gasperini has been handed a two-match touchline ban after his side’s 3-1 victory away against Parma in Serie A over the weekend, and will now miss the next two matches against Roma and Milan.
The Lega Serie A have confirmed in its weekly disciplinary report that Gasperini will be suspended for two matches after repeated insults towards the fourth official at the Stadio Ennio Tardini.

Gasperini was reportedly given a warning 10 minutes into the second half, but aimed repeated insults towards the fourth official, which has cost him his place on the bench for the next two league fixtures.
The Dea tactician will miss the Serie A matches away against Roma at the Stadio Olimpico on Monday, December 2 and the home game against Milan on Friday, December 6. He will then be eligible to return to the dugout for the away trip to Cagliari on December 14.
The suspension only applies to Serie A fixtures, so there will be no impact on Tuesday night’s Champions League match away against Young Boys, nor the game at home against Real Madrid on December 10,
