Getafe will wonder what could have been during their clash with Real Madrid on Sunday.

The match stood 0-0 deep into the second half before a shock event handed the visitors the upper hand and likely played a role in them earning all three points.

Getafe defender Nyom entered the pitch in the 76th minute and, some 37 seconds later, was shown a straight red card for tackling Vinicius Junior off the ball.

Both teams argued over the case, but the 37-year-old was ultimately sent packing leaving Madrid with a man advantage, to which they scored three minutes later.

Was this the right decision from the referee?
