Granit Xhaka, Brian Brobbey and Wilson Isidor sent Instagram messages to Sunderland fans after the Black Cats’ 3-1 comeback at Everton.

Sunderland Echo reports that the trio posted on Instagram after the game. Régis Le Bris’ side came from behind at Hill Dickinson Stadium, with second-half goals from Brobbey, Enzo Le Fée and Isidor completing a memorable turnaround.

Brobbey, who equalised with an excellent finish, thanked supporters for their backing, described it as a big win and said they would keep pushing together.

Xhaka, captain on Merseyside, hailed the team’s character and the result, adding clapping emojis and the hashtag GX34.

Isidor sealed it late by converting Habib Diarra’s back-post cross, then called it a huge win that keeps the dream alive and urged one last push next week. He tagged Diarra and thanked him in French for the pass.

The posts drew quick reactions from team-mates, with Lutsharel Geertruida responding and Luke O’Nien replying with heart and clapping emojis.

The victory keeps Sunderland’s European hopes alive into the final day, when Chelsea visit the Stadium of Light. A win could yet be enough if other results go their way.
