Grealish could be left out of Club World cup squad | OneFootball

Jack Grealish may not feature for Manchester City at the Club World Cup later this month according to reports.

The England international played just 20 Premier League games, of which just seven were starts, in which he scored once and assisted once for Pep Guardiola's side.

The decision has fuelled speculation that Grealish has already played his last game for the Citizens after having previously been a part of the side that won the treble as recently as the 2022/23 campaign.

City are said to be close to signing AC Milan midfielder Tijjani Reijnders with more recent reports also suggesting a move for Lyon attacking midfielder Rayan Cherki, who could be a more direct replacement for Grealish.

Since joining City from Aston Villa in 2021, Grealish has played 157 times for the Citizens scoring 17 and assisting 24 in all competitions.
