Pep Guardiola has been shortlisted for the Premier League Manager of the Month award for November.
Doku up for November’s Premier League Player of the Month
The Catalan led us to another impressive sequence of results, with City winning three of our four league games across the calendar month.
City also registered 10 league goals across November – more than any other side – with Guardiola’s side climbing up to second place in the Premier League table within touching distance of leaders Arsenal.
Amongst the highlights were a superb 3-0 win at the Etihad over reigning champions Liverpool in what served as one of City’s finest showings of the campaign to date.
The Blues also recorded a fine 3-1 home win over Bournemouth and rounded off November with a dramatic 3-2 Etihad triumph over Leeds United thanks to Phil Foden’s injury time winner.
Pep has been nominated alongside Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta, Unai Emery of Aston Villa, Brighton manager Fabian Hurzeler, Chelsea’s Enzo Maresca and Fulham boss Marco Silva.
Should Guardiola win, it would be his 12th Premier League Manager of the Month award – making Pep the third most successful recipient in the history of the prize.
Guardiola’s nomination also comes shortly after Jeremy Doku was one of eight players shortlisted for the November Player of the Month award.

Sitting second in the table, Pep Guardiola’s side are looking to keep pressure on league leaders Arsenal as we approach the halfway point of the campaign.
The newly promoted Black Cats will provide a stern test having enjoyed a fabulous return to the top-flight so far.
This is in fact the first Etihad meeting between the sides since Pep’s very first game in charge of City all the way back in 2016!
