Valencia have completed the signing of Argentina midfielder Guido Rodríguez, a world champion, to reinforce their midfield. He arrives with clear ambition and respect for the club’s history.
He landed at Manises on Friday night before completing formalities. “I am very happy to be here. The motivation was to join a demanding club with great history,” he said, speaking to VCF Media.
“I have always played in midfield, I try to be well organised, to organise the team and understand where the game is going.” “I try to defend, help the centre-backs, play with the ball and make the team protagonists.”
“The fans are an extra player and you feel it on the pitch.” “I like going out on to the grass with people demanding, singing, pushing us on. It is very beautiful.”
“Lucas Beltrán spoke very well about Valencia. I am eager for us to be together here and to do things well.”
“I shared a dressing room with Pablo at River. Later, they were my coaches with the national team.” “I watched those teams as a kid. Aimar was a great player. Wearing this shirt is beautiful.”
“There will be no lack of work and self-demand from me.” “I am sure we are going to give our best to finish the season in the best possible way together.”
