One of the things worth keeping an eye on heading into this game will be Hansi Flick’s team selection, as the German has often resorted to making a lot of rotation this season.

Flick leaves hint regarding his team selection

As reported by AS, the trail of Flick’s recent starting eleven allows observers to narrow the gap on the team he will present against PSG at Montjuic.

The team, of course, is heavily affected by injuries, with Joan Garcia, Fermin, and Gavi all unavailable. But Lamine Yamal will return.

Wearing the number 10 shirt, he showed his sharpness in the last half hour against Real Madrid. The key question is who will join Lamine, Dani Olmo and the in-form Ferran Torres in attack.

Robert Lewandowski has an advantage over Marcus Rashford, which could see Flick again opt for a double-nine formation.

Yet Rashford’s speed keeps him in contention, especially given Luis Enrique’s contrasting style compared to Getafe’s Bordalas.

With Wojciech Szczesny set in goal and Jules Kounde at right-back, the rest of the defence still has uncertainties.

Eric Garcia and Pau Cubarsi are tipped to start in central defence, as both were rested against Real Sociedad. Their ball-playing abilities could be crucial against PSG, whose coach, Luis Enrique, has previously used Ronald Araujo’s lack of passing acumen to his advantage.

At left-back, Gerard Martin is favoured, though the returning Alejandro Balde remains an option.

Midfield provides no doubts. Frenkie de Jong and Pedri form a seamless duo, with Flick eager to use their understanding to control possession against PSG.
