Hearts came from behind twice to secure a 2-2 draw with Celtic in the Scottish Premiership at Tynecastle Park on Sunday afternoon.
Benjamin Nygren got the defending champions off to a flying start by putting them ahead in the seventh minute, sending a brilliant drive past goalkeeper Craig Gordon.
Hearts almost responded immediately as Pierre Landry Kabore flicked a header towards Claudio Braga, whose attempt was easily dealt with by Kasper Schmeichel.
Moments after the start of the second half, Stuart Findlay levelled the scores at the back post, heading a corner into the net.
Alexandros Kyziridis was presented with another chance to score, but a timely challenge from Liam Scales denied him a shot.
Tomas Cvancara almost put Celtic back in front with a looping header, only to be denied by the woodwork.
Cvancara would then set up Celtic’s second goal, breaking clear down the left flank and sending a low cross into the six-yard box for Yang Hyun-Jun to score with a tap-in.
Celtic were reduced to 10 men when Trusty was shown a red card in the 77th minute for denying a goalscoring opportunity, setting up the clash for a tense final.
Three minutes from time, Braga drew the leaders level, smashing the ball home from a free-kick.
Blair Spittal nearly scored a late winner for the Jambos, but his shot hit the woodwork, allowing both sides to share the spoils.
The result cut Hearts’ lead at the top of the standings to four points, with Rangers securing a 3-0 win over Dundee United.
