We all can see how the 2025/26 Premier League table looks currently this Saturday morning.
The same with how the 2024/25 season ended.
How about though, what the Premier League table would look like for all results in this calendar yar, 1 January 2025 onwards?
This often gives you a better idea of the various Premier League teams and their ongoing form, the final five months of last season and the opening two months of this season.
It often happens that the results from the second half of the previous season, are a far better guide to what will happen in the next campaign, rather than taking the results of the entire previous season.
Here is the Premier League table looks for all results in 2025.
Talksport have compiled this 2025 table, so what do you think are the stand outs?
Obviously the promoted and relegated teams can only tell you so much, it is the other 17 teams we are really looking at.
When it comes to those struggling, there are four at the bottom end who really stand out, as Man U, Spurs, Wolves and West Ham with woeful form in 2025.
I think a lot of the motivation for Talksport to put this 2025 Premier League table together, was to highlight Crystal Palace, as you can see they stand fifth in this 2025 table of PL results. Newcastle United hammered Palace 5-0 on 16 April 2025 at St James’ Park and then they went on an unbeaten run of 19 matches in all competitions. That run only ended in their most recent match when Everton defeated them with a 83rd minute winner.
Newcastle United are shown as seventh in this 2025 Premier League table but only three points off fourth. When you consider what a tough opening schedule of matches that Eddie Howe’s side have had this season and so many obstacles in the Head Coach’s way, I think this 2025 record of results for Newcastle in the league remains very positive. Newcastle United have also played nine other matches in 2025, in domestic cups and the Champions League, they produced seven wins and two defeats).
I think maybe one of the biggest stand outs, is that if you take three points each off the top two in this table (Arsenal and Liverpool have each played one more PL match in 2025 compared to the next six in this table), then only eight points separate second to eighth in terms of 2025 PL results, with actually Manchester City top of the form in 2025.
