How to Buy Tickets to Barcelona-Real Madrid

There is little hope of getting amongst the few hundred Real Madrid fans in the corner at the Estadi Olimpic Lluis Companys at Montjuic, and Los Blancos are not selling away tickets to the general public. You can however go to the Barcelona website to try and get tickets, but the vast majority have been sold out. Some at the price of €745 are still available in the corner are still available.

One of the quirks of buying a ticket for Barcelona games is that they only guarantee a section of the stadium, rather than a set seat. However if you’re keen to steer clear of that, you can go to third-party ticket websites such as LiveFootballTickets.com, Viagogo or FootballTicket.net. There are much cheaper options available at LiveFootballTickets.com compared to the Barcelona site, starting at €499. They will provide a 150% moneyback guarantee in case of any issues, and also have a 4.8 rating out of 5 on TrustPilot, gleaned from over 15,000 reviews.

How will Barcelona and Real Madrid come into the game?

The Clasico will see two sides in almost polar opposite dynamics meet. The Blaugrana are enjoying a brilliant season under Hansi Flick, and have won all three of the meetings between the two sides this season, and in the first two instances, comfortably. After securing the Spanish Supercup and Copa del Rey, they know that a win would all but sentence La Liga, opening up a seven-point gap between the two with three games to go.

Yet Barcelona will be coming off the back of an exhausting run, and the game takes place just five days after the second leg of their Champions League semi-final against Inter in Milan, which will take its toll on their squad.

On the other hand, Real Madrid will come into the side well-rested and knowing that anything but a win probably relinquishes La Liga to their arch rivals. Los Blancos showed they can compete against Barcelona during the Copa final and will be extra motivated to do so. That win would also change the dynamics of the title race though, and move Real Madrid within just a point.

They will have to contend with both the atmosphere and injuries though. Carlo Ancelotti looks as if he will be moving on next season, and tensions are high at Real Madrid, as shown by their three red cards at the end of the final. Antonio Rudiger will not be available, and he will join David Alaba, Eduardo Camavinga, Ferland Mendy, Dani Carvajal and Eder Militao on the sidelines, leaving them short at the back. Ancelotti will likely be forced to improvise with one or more of Fede Valverde or Aurelien Tchouameni in the backline, thus weakening their midfield too.
