Paul Merson believes Enzo Maresca will be under pressure if Chelsea don’t beat Brighton at Stamford Bridge on Saturday afternoon.
The Blues host The Seagulls and will be looking to return to winning ways after taking one point from their last two league games.
The visitors have won just one of their opening five league games, but will still pose a tough test for Maresca’s men , who have struggled for form at the start of this campaign.
The Blues returned to winning ways on Tuesday night as they scraped past Lincoln in the Carabao Cup, but they will need a huge improvement if they are to beat Brighton.
It’s unclear whether Cole Palmer will be fit, whilst Facundo Buonanotte is unavailable due to being on loan from Brighton.
Chelsea will hope Romeo Lavia is fit enough to return having been back in training for over a week, and the pressure is on the Blues to get the three points.

It’s another huge week for the Blues, who host Benfica on Tuesday night before they welcome Liverpool to Stamford Bridge in a huge game next weekend.
Merson, who himself is a Chelsea fan has given his prediction for the game, and believes Maresca will be under pressure if doesn’t get the win.
“Chelsea haven’t started well this season,” he told Sportskeeda.
“This is a club that is used to winning the big trophies and they must get back to where they belong.
“It’s a must win game for Chelsea if you ask me and if they don’t get all three points, the manager will be under pressure.
Brighton have got the sort of players who can cause Chelsea problems, and Merson has admitted he’s worried for the Blues.
“This is a tough game for Chelsea and as a fan, I’m worried,” he added.
