Inter Milan newcomer Ange-Yoan Bonny couldn’t hide his excitement after making his Champions League home debut against Slavia Prague.
Speaking to Inter TV via FCInterNews, the French center-forward tried to describe this special feeling.
Ange-Yoan Bonny made his second European appearance for Inter last night.
Like against Ajax, the 21-year-old came off the bench just after the hour mark, replacing Marcus Thuram.
Despite spending almost half an hour on the pitch, Bonny couldn’t find the net.
However, Cristian Chivu’s men were already 3-0 up before he joined the fray.
With Lautaro Martinez netting a brace and Denzel Dumfries tapping home from a few meters out, Inter had a massive lead after 65 minutes.
Therefore, there was no need to take risks toward the end of the game.
Unfortunately for Bonny, Inter’s less aggressive approach meant he had to settle for gaining experience rather than scoring.

Before helping Parma secure top-flight promotion and survival, Bonny played for French minnows Chateauroux.
As such, competing at the pinnacle of European football is a quantum leap for the young striker.
“Three points, consistency, and joy,” Bonny said after last night’s triumph. “Those are the three words that sum up this match.
“I’m happy to win again. We keep working on our form and getting minutes, and we’ll keep going like this.
“Playing in a competition like this is a dream for every child. And it’s even more special at San Siro, wearing the Inter jersey.”
Despite drawing another blank, Bonny is in contention for a starting berth against Cremonese this weekend.
Indeed, Thuram picked up a minor injury last evening, which might force Chivu to rest the French superstar on Saturday.
Therefore, it’ll be either him or Francesco Pio Esposito to partner up with Lautaro in attack.
