Sassuolo CEO Giovanni Carnevali has told Inter Milan flop Davide Frattesi to join Juventus in the January transfer window.

Speaking to Tuttosport via FCInter1908, Carnevalli delivered his verdict on the midfielder’s potential move to Turin.

Deemed surplus to requirements by new boss Cristian Chivu, Frattesi is ready to pack his bags this winter.

Indeed, the 26-year-old has fallen out of favor at San Siro, making just four competitive starts this season.

Meanwhile, he is desperate to help Italy qualify for next summer’s FIFA World Cup and feature for the national team in North America.

However, his limited playing time at Giuseppe Meazza threatens to compromise his chances of making the cut.

Therefore, Davide Frattesi could request a transfer in January, with Juventus vying for his signature.

Luciano Spalletti is keen to reunite with the former Sassuolo ace, identifying him as his top target for the winter transfer window.

“Frattesi and Raspadori are two players I love,” Carnevali said. ‘If I were at a big club, I’d always sign them.

“Frattesi is wanted by Juventus and can play for any team, also because of his characteristics.

“Juve wanted him when he moved to Inter, just like Napoli did. Inter were simply more determined, and the player’s will made the difference.

“At Inter, there are many champions, but I think Frattesi has always done well. If he plays, he can shine.

“If he came back here to Sassuolo, we’d take him back immediately.”

Meanwhile, Tarik Muharemovic has emerged as one of Inter’s top priorities to reinforce their backline.

“We don’t have to sell Muharemovic at all costs,” Carnevali stated. “We want to develop him. I had already sold Locatelli to Arsenal.

“However, he preferred Juventus, and we chose to accommodate him, even if it meant giving up some extra money.

“For us, Tarik doesn’t have a price today, because a lot depends on who comes asking for him.

“He has great potential, so it’s normal that if a big club comes knocking, we’ll listen. But then we also have to find a replacement.”

Finally, Carnevalli confirmed the Nerazzurri’s interest in the 22-year-old center-back.

“We’ve already had a few approaches. Not from Bournemouth, yes from Inter, but there are no official bids.
