Inter Milan continue to struggle defensively under new head coach Cristian Chivu, as the Nerazzurri have kept just one clean sheet in Serie A this season.
Inter opened their 2025-26 campaign with a 5-0 rout over Torino but that was the last time the team kept a clean sheet in the league.
Since that victory, Inter have conceded seven times, one of the highest tallies in Serie A.
Chivu’s side conceded twice to Udinese before the international break.
Then, Inter conceded four to Juventus in the Derby d’Italia and one last weekend to Sassuolo.

Inter’s defence is one of the leakiest in Italy.
However, their attack has prevented the season from being a total disaster.
The Nerazzurri have the most goals in Serie A, finding the back of the net eleven times so far.
The Corriere dello Sport, via FCInterNews, note that Inter have kept just four clean sheets in 13 games under Chivu.
This includes the Club World Cup and summer friendlies,
The paper claim that the issues must be addressed soon, with 16 goals conceded in the aforementioned 13 matches.
