Ivan Provedel ‘to join’ Inter as Lazio agree sale, fee and terms reported | OneFootball

According to The Laziali, Lazio and Inter Milan have reached full agreement for Ivan Provedel’s transfer, with the goalkeeper poised to join the Italian champions.

The clubs held direct talks for weeks and, earlier this week, negotiations briefly stalled over the fee. With all sides keen to complete the move, a solution has now been found.

The deal is understood to be worth three million euros. Provedel is expected to finalise the switch next week on a three-year contract worth around one and a half million euros plus bonuses per season.

Provedel has been Lazio’s first choice since arriving from Spezia in summer 2022. With Maurizio Sarri gone and only one year left on his deal, a departure at this stage appears timely.

The 32-year-old is said to be delighted to join the club he supported as a child. For Inter, he would replace Yann Sommer and provide experienced cover for Josep Martinez, who has been promoted to the number one role.
