Jack Rudoni revealed his delight after Coventry City announced new contracts for Jay Dasilva, Liam Kitching and Milan van Ewijk.
Coventry City moved back to the top of the Championship with a crucial win over fellow promotion hopefuls Middlesbrough last time out.
That was a welcome three points for Frank Lampard and all connected to the Sky Blues, as they have been inconsistent in 2026.
However, they will hope the manner of the win over Boro can help the team get back to their best, and, if they do, Coventry will be a hard team to stop, as there is plenty of talent in the ranks of the Midlands outfit.

As you would expect for a team that is pushing for promotion, it has been a collective effort to put Coventry in this position, so it would be unfair to single out individuals.
Jay Dasilva, Liam Kitching and Milan van Ewijk are among those to impress, with the trio often forming part of the back four that Lampard has built Coventry’s success on.
And, in an announcement shared by the club on Thursday night, Coventry confirmed the three players have all agreed new contracts to extend their stay at the CBS Arena.
All three players were previously under contract until the summer of 2027, so they had entered the final 18 months of their deals, so it makes sense that the club have moved swiftly to protect their value, as well as reward the trio for their performances.
Naturally, this update went down well with the Coventry fans, and it appears the Sky Blues players were also pleased with the news.
That’s after midfielder Jack Rudoni took to his Instagram story to react to the update by sharing three heart-eyed emojis.
As outlined above, this is a smart move from a business perspective, as no club wants players to enter the final year of their contracts.
If they do, you start to lose power in negotiations, and if fresh terms couldn’t be agreed with Dasilva, van Ewijk or Kitching, there is a very real chance that they would've been sold in the summer.
Of course, that may still happen, and a lot will depend on what division Coventry are in, but the club will now be in a position to demand proper fees if they do cash in.
Furthermore, it also sends out the right message by the club, as they are rewarding players who have delivered for them on the pitch, and that will be appreciated by those involved.

Now, though, the only focus for Dasilva, Kitching and van Ewijk, and all at Coventry, is helping the club to win promotion.
They have worked very hard to get into this position over the past six months, and whilst there are sure to be ups and downs in the run-in, it’s a fantastic opportunity for the club to return to the Premier League.
Having someone like Lampard in the dugout will no doubt help the players, as he is someone who has been there and done it at the very highest level in his career.
It’s set to be very exciting for the neutrals, and Coventry will hope that the victory over Middlesbrough can help them kick-on.
