Jhon Arias returned to Palmeiras training on Saturday after representing Colombia at the World Cup, taking part in the full session under Abel Ferreira’s staff.

According to Globo.com, goalkeeper Carlos Miguel and midfielder Felipe Anderson followed indoor load-management work, alongside left-back Jefté, who is recovering from right-knee surgery.

At the Academia de Futebol, the squad began with muscle activation before drills focused on passing, movement, crossing and finishing. They then played 11 against 11 on a reduced-size pitch with specific objectives.

Palmeiras have held six training matches during this preparation period and return to action on Wednesday, away to Coritiba in round 19 of the Brasileirão.

The league leaders have 41 points and are in the last 16 of both the Libertadores and the Copa do Brasil, where they will face Cerro Porteño of Paraguay and Fortaleza.
