The Audi Summer Tour offers a direct link to our guys: in the short format ‘Tour Talk’, the FC Bayern players take you right along with them to Jeju and Hong Kong. They’ll talk about the special atmosphere in the camp, pre-season, the new season and their personal aims – brief, compact and personal. And there’s also something for you to win at the end. Kicking it off is defender Jonathan Tah.

“Obviously you have to adjust a bit on the day of arrival, but I’ve slept very well on the first nights in the hotel. Exercise always me to cope with the time shift. As soon as you start training, you’re fully focused anyway. And even on the flight we pay attention to when and how long we sleep.”
“I came to Asia for the first time 13 years ago with Hamburger SV. The countries differ extremely in some cases – you can’t compare Indonesia with China or South Korea. I find that really fascinating because it’s a completely different culture to Europe. I also ask Minjae (Kim) or Hiroki (Ito) in the team how you greet people properly in each country or, for example, how to bow politely to express gratitude. I find the little details particularly interesting and always try to take something for myself from these trips, too.”
“It’s obviously different to a tournament like the Club World Cup in the USA, for example, but for us as a team it’s always special to be together for a long time in a hotel and travelling together. It brings the team closer. A special team spirit can emerge from that, an energy that we can take with us into the whole season, like from USA last year.”
“We had a feeling last season where we believed we could really beat anyone. We earned that through hard work; we had high expectations, worked extremely hard in every training session and then in every game as well. Now we’re starting again – and the challenge will be to create that special atmosphere again as quickly as possible.”
“My role is the same as last season. I obviously want to expand it though, take on even more responsibility, stay brave, and help the team on and off the pitch so that we achieve the maximum success.”
