Journalist Matt Law of The Telegraph claims that Chelsea are in exactly the same position as Tottenham right now.

Despite Chelsea being eleven places higher than Tottenham, who are genuinely fighting relegation and look like they are about to get rid of their interim manager too, Law claims Chelsea are in the same position as Spurs right now. Is he OK!?

He has just written a scathing article off the back of Chelsea losing 5-2 against PSG in the Champions League last night. The tie is all but over, but factually, Chelsea still have the second leg to put things right.

But Law’s bizarre attack has been fuelled by Enzo Fernandez kissing his Club World Cup badge when he scored Chelsea’s second goal last night, and says they should remove the badges from their shirts. Absolutely wild, this….

In the article for The Telegraph, Law says:

‘World champions? You’re having a laugh. The Blues are not even the best team in London right now.

‘For all of the bravado and big talk, Chelsea find themselves in exactly the same position as the club they love to laugh at – Tottenham Hotspur – as they contemplate the prospect of trying to overturn an embarrassing 5-2 deficit in the second leg.

‘There can be no doubt that winning the Club World Cup created an arrogance beyond the sense of achievement that has helped to cultivate a head-loss culture within the club.’

Liam Rosenior refused to take the blame for using Filip Jorgensen in the PSG defeat last night saying that “players make mistakes.” It’s true, but we could have told you who was going to make this mistake if you picked him today.

Rosenior has also noted his own failings in the game to some degree in terms of game management. He looked a little like a rabbit in the spotlight at times yesterday evening.
