Juventus striker Dusan Vlahovic is targeting a move to the Premier League next summer, with Chelsea receiving an approach according to reports.
Chelsea signed five attacking players over the summer, including Joao Pedro and Liam Delap, whilst Emanuel Emegha will arrive from Strasbourg at the end of the season.
Nicolas Jackson is set to leave next summer, with Marc Guiu also on Chelsea’s books, although it would appear his future lies away from Stamford Bridge.
Chelsea are currently short at number nine given the injury to Delap, and Enzo Maresca has fielded Tyrique George out of position at centre forward, although Guiu did get his first minutes of the season against Liverpool.
The Blues are constantly linked with players, especially attackers, and despite Emegha’s arrival next summer, another striker joining can’t be fully ruled out.

Chelsea have previously been linked with Vlahovic, who’s believed to be eyeing a free transfer next summer, and journalist Graeme Bailey has provided an update.
“Once again his people are touching base with potential landing spots – Chelsea and Tottenham have been spoken to by intermediaries,” he told TBR Football.
“Much will depend on whether he wants a ‘pay day’ – he won’t get that in England.
“He would get major money obviously, but nothing compared to what he could earn in Saudi Arabia – he would only get more than his current salary at Juventus if he moved to the Middle East.
“But Vlahovic is just 25. Whilst doing well at Juventus, he hasn’t blown anyone away and you get the feeling he has unfinished business at this point of his career.”
Whilst Vlahovic is clearly a very good striker, a move to Chelsea is hard to imagine given the current options at the club.

The Serbian would also have to take a significant pay-cut in order to facilitate any move to Stamford Bridge, and how likely that is remains unclear.
Vlahovic has scored 62 goals in 153 appearances for the Italian giants, and it will be interesting to see where he ends up next, but it’s hard to imagine Chelsea seriously pursuing this move.
