Julien Anziani close to Pau switch after Sariyerspor exit | OneFootball

Pau are expected to welcome midfielder Julien Anziani to bolster their squad. According to L'Équipe, the former AC Ajaccio player is in line to join.

He held talks with the club last summer before signing for Sariyerspor, where he made 21 league appearances, scoring four and providing two assists. His contract there was terminated this week.

In Béarn he will reunite with Thierry Debès, who was promoted to the AC Ajaccio bench during the season. Debès has been handed interim charge at Pau after last Saturday’s separation with Nicolas Usaï.

Anziani, 26, has played 86 Ligue 2 matches, scoring eight, since his debut with Gazélec Ajaccio.

He has also featured for Avranches, Borgo and Dunkerque. He is due to sign an 18-month deal with Pau and is expected to arrive on Saturday.
