Reports in Italy claim that Juventus could seek a deal for Nottingham Forest midfielder Ibrahim Sangare if Bianconeri midfielder Douglas Luiz ends up moving in the opposite direction this summer.

Reports Sangare is an option to replace Douglas Luiz at Juventus

Juventus are actively looking to sell Douglas Luiz after one season in Serie A after what was a disappointing first year that brought just three starts in the league.

The Brazilian has reportedly set his sights on a return to the Premier League, and made his feelings towards Juventus clear when he failed to report for the first few days of pre-season training earlier this summer.

Recent reports indicate that Forest, as well as fellow Premier League sides Everton, West Ham and Fulham have shown an interest in picking up the former Aston Villa star.

Juventus are also seeking new midfield additions themselves to replace Douglas Luiz, which might depend on the 27-year-old leaving first.

In a surprise twist, however, La Gazzetta dello Sport reports that Juventus could seek a deal with Forest to bring the out-of-favour Sangare to Turin if Douglas Luiz ends up moving to the City Ground.

Previous reports claim that Danish trio Morten Hjulmand, Matt O’Riley and Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg are on Juventus’s midfield wishlist, as well as Sofyan Amrabat and Yves Bissouma.
