Juventus are considering a loan move for Real Madrid’s teenage forward Endrick Felipe this summer (h/t Tuttosport).
The Brazilian moved to Santiago Bernabeu last summer on a six-year deal after making waves at Palmeiras.
However, the 18-year-old started only once in 22 La Liga games last season.
He showcased his quality despite the limited opportunities. Endrick bagged five goals in six games in the Copa del Rey and scored on his Champions League debut against Stuttgart.
He has been impressive for the Brazilian senior team, scoring against England and Spain.
While Endrick was hoping for a more prominent role next season, Gonzalo Garcia’s emergence has raised doubts over his place in the squad.
The Castilla striker has burst onto the scene with his impressive performances at the ongoing Club World Cup. He has scored two goals and provided an assist in three games.
Garcia is also gaining the trust of manager Xabi Alonso, who may view him as integral to his plans next season.
Juve are monitoring Endrick’s situation and are ready to move if Madrid give the green light for a loan transfer.
The Italian giants are probing the transfer market for a new striker, with Dusan Vlahovic’s future hanging in the balance.
They are pushing to offload the Serbian to avoid losing him for free next summer, but there haven’t been any concrete offers for him.
Juve could accelerate the signing of free agent Jonathan David if Vlahovic leaves.
Filip Kostic, Timothy Weah, Nico Gonzalez and Samuel Mbangula could also exit the Allianz Stadium this summer.
They shortlisted FC Porto striker Samu Omorodion as another potential target.
