Juventus schedule meetings for low-cost Muharemovic return | OneFootball

Juventus have reportedly arranged a series of meetings with the representatives of Sassuolo defender Tarik Muharemovic, who could potentially return to Turin in a low-cost deal given that the Bianconeri have a 50% sell-on clause for the Bosnian centre-back.

New meetings scheduled for Juventus and Muharemovic

Juventus are looking to strengthen at centre-back ahead of the 2026-27 season and the latest reports suggest that Muharemovic and Bologna’s Jhon Lucumi are the players currently under consideration by the Old Lady.

Bologna are reportedly holding out for a €25m fee for Lucumi, who also has a €28m release clause written into his contract that will be valid until mid-July.

Juventus are keen to study alternative, cheaper options, which has led them to consider a potential return for former Next Gen talent Muharemovic, who has spent the last two seasons with Sassuolo.

Juventus have a 50% sell-on clause for Muharemovic, meaning that they effectively part-own the player, and the Bianconeri will be able to bring the player back at half the amount it would cost any other club.

According to the latest updates from IlBianconero, a new meeting between Juventus CEO Giovanni Carnevali, several other Bianconeri directors and Muharemovic’s representatives has been set up and will take place within the first few days of the coming week.
