Karl Etta Eyong responds to Barcelona & Real Madrid interest | OneFootball

Levante star Karl Etta Eyong has late this week spoken out on the ongoing speculation linking him with a move to one of Spanish football’s top two clubs.

Frontman Etta Eyong has for his part been tipped for a potential move to one of Barcelona or Real Madrid for several weeks now.

As much comes amid mounting interest in the services of a player who has enjoyed a stellar opening to the campaign in the colours of the aforementioned Levante.

Speaking during an interview with transfer journalist Ben Jacobs of GiveMeSport (as cited by Diario Sport) this week, the subject of the potential Clásico clash for his signature was in turn put to the Cameroonian himself.

And Etta Eyong went on to admit that he has been left ‘flattered’ by the links:

“I’m really flattered. It means a lot to me because it shows that my hard work is paying off. But I just have to continue on my path at Levante and then see what happens in the future.”
