Karlan Grant has returned to Charlton on a two-year contract after rejecting an offer to remain with West Brom.
According to ExpressAndStar.com, the forward, 28, began his professional career with the Addicks and made close to 100 appearances.
He joined Albion from Huddersfield in 2020 for £15 million on a six-year deal, scoring 35 goals in 173 games.
Although Albion offered fresh terms, it had long appeared likely he would move on this summer. The club have already added Barney Stewart and Jimmy-Jay Morgan to their attack.
Grant, who came through at Charlton as a teenager, departs thanking West Brom’s fans and staff. In a farewell message he expressed gratitude for the memories and wished everyone at the club success.
