Largie Ramazani’s loan at Valencia is in doubt, raising the prospect of an unexpected Leeds United return in January.

El Desmarque reports that he “will not remain” until the end of the season, with Valencia considering terminating the season-long deal now as injuries, inconsistency and limited minutes, around 12%, have hindered him, and replacements such as Jack Harrison being assessed.

Daniel Farke sanctioned several summer loans and Ramazani moved to La Mestalla for the season.

His struggles present an unwelcome distraction for Farke as he focuses on the Premier League survival fight. A switch to a 3-5-2 has left a surplus of wingers, with Dan James injured and Jack Harrison and Willy Gnonto short on minutes.

Leeds are thought to be close to this season’s PSR limits and Ramazani has been identified as a player who could generate a fee. If Valencia do cut the loan short, arranging another temporary move would likely be the priority.
