Lazio loan Christos Mandas to AFC Bournemouth | OneFootball

Lazio have confirmed that goalkeeper Christos Mandas has joined Premier League side AFC Bournemouth on loan for the remainder of the 2025-26 season.

According to Football Italia, the agreement includes an option to buy worth around €18.5m, which could become an obligation under certain conditions. Neither club has announced any purchase clause.

Mandas arrives to compete with summer signing Djorde Petrovic, who has not fully convinced since moving to the Cherries from Chelsea.

The Greece international made 20 appearances across all competitions under Marco Baroni last season, then returned to understudy duties following Maurizio Sarri’s return in the summer. He has featured only once this term, in the Coppa Italia.

Lazio have already brought in a replacement, signing 21-year-old Edoardo Motta from Reggiana on a permanent deal, with Juventus receiving 50% of the fee.
