Lazio are braced for a sweeping rebuild after a toxic finish, capped by an incident in which Gustav Isaksen declined to come on late in the final-day win over Pisa, according to Il Messaggero. The episode intensified tension and would almost certainly hasten his departure this summer.
With head coach Maurizio Sarri increasingly close to leaving to join Atalanta, Lazio face an extensive reset in the coming weeks.
The Dane is not the only forward with an uncertain future. Pedro is confirmed to be leaving. Boulaye Dia, due to be made permanent from Salernitana, is nevertheless considering his options despite the deal being completed.
The club’s stance is that no one is indispensable. Offers will be heard, particularly for attacking players.
Tijjani Noslin has drawn the firmest outside interest, with Bologna and Feyenoord monitoring the Dutchman. Having been one of Lazio’s livelier performers, his profile and age make him a saleable asset as funds are sought for the rebuild.
