Lazio are weighing a double defensive addition this summer, with Sergi Dominguez and Diego Coppola under consideration as they reshape the back line.
Il Corriere dello Sport reports that Dominguez has been handpicked to replace compatriot Mario Gila, valuing the 21-year-old at a minimum €10 million. La Gazzetta dello Sport suggests the Spaniard could instead cost €7-8 million and adds that Lazio are open to recruiting two centre-backs.
A Barcelona academy graduate, Dominguez joined Dinamo Zagreb last summer and quickly became a regular. He helped the Croatian champions secure a domestic double in his debut campaign.
Coppola, 22, came through Hellas Verona before a £10 million move to Brighton last summer, then struggled for minutes and impressed on loan at Paris FC in the spring. La Gazzetta dello Sport also reports Brighton are willing to consider an initial loan with an option to buy at the end of the season. Gennaro Gattuso knows the defender, having called him up for international duty during his brief Azzurri stint.
Alessio Romagnoli has confirmed his departure and will sign for Al-Sadd, while Gila could be set to join AC Milan, who are now frontrunners. Oliver Provstgaard may be promoted, with Patric and Samuel Gigot offering depth.
