Lazio are preparing defensive changes as Mario Gila nears a move to Milan, with two centre-backs under consideration.
Gennaro Gattuso has just taken charge and recruitment will be tested to replace Gila and Alessio Romagnoli, who is expected to join Al-Sadd. According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, the club are weighing several options.
Oliver Provstgaard could be promoted to first-choice, with Patric and Samuel Gigot viewed as back-up alternatives. Even so, Lazio still need at least one starting centre-half, if not more.
The report lists Sergi Dominguez of Dinamo Zagreb as the leading candidate. The 21-year-old, formerly in Barcelona’s academy, could be available for m to m.
The report adds that Brighton are open to loaning Diego Coppola with an option or obligation to buy, one year after his m switch from Hellas Verona.
