Daniel Farke has named a strong Leeds United side for this afternoon’s FA Cup quarter-final at West Ham, although a key defender is absent.

According to yorkshireeveningpost.co.uk, Anton Stach and Dominic Calvert-Lewin have recovered to be involved. Stach starts with Ethan Ampadu and Ao Tanaka in midfield, Calvert-Lewin is on the bench.

Left back Gabi Gudmunddson and winger Dan James are not in the squad. James has an adductor strain and is expected to miss a couple of weeks, Gudmunddson has a minor groin issue and is not risked.

With Gudmunddson out, James Justin starts at left wing back and Jayden Bogle on the right, with Joe Rodon, Jaka Bijol and Pascal Struijk in defence.

On Thursday, Calvert-Lewin was a doubt after feeling a hamstring issue late on Wednesday, he missed Thursday’s session and had a precautionary scan. There was hope it was minor but availability remained uncertain.

Stach initially missed training with a hip problem, then returned on Thursday and was expected to be available.

Leeds United XI: Perri, Bogle, Rodon, Bijol, Struijk, Justin, Ampadu, Stach, Tanaka, Okafor, Nmecha. Subs: Darlow, Byram, Bornauw, Longstaff, Gruev, Aaronson, Gnonto, Piroe, Calvert-Lewin.
